'Icons. Innovation in the Construction Sector' aims to improve the digital knowledge of construction workers, through the development of a training that offers tailored contents to help understand the technical and structural aspects of BIM system (Building Information Modelling).
In this sense, this European project led by the Italian entity, Scuola Costruzioni Vicenza Andrea Palladio, seeks to reduce skills gap between different workers involved in the building process, with the aim of improving digitization of works and promoting productivity, and sustainability of the sector at a European level.
This course will be integrated into the training itinerary of the centres that the four partner entities have in different regions of Spain, Italy, Slovenia and Germany. Icons will develop a didactic platform with different BIM contents; in addition, it will promote a specific training for the trainers of these organizations in this field.
